Providing food and water to dead ancestors or Pitrus is Pitru Yagna.

Propitiating Devas through homa and yajna is Deva Yagnam

Those householders not performing these five yagna is equal to dead and will not attain moksha.

Several Hindu scriptures indicate that a householder who performs the Pancha Maha Yagna is more pious than a Sanyasi.

It is also believed that proper rains fall on earth due to the Pancha Maha Yagna performed by Grihastas.

OM CHANTING TECHNIQUE

  When you learn Veena, how the rhythm steadily raises and gradually subsides, in the same way, close your eyes and raise the cosmic rhythm Om from the naval region.  Simultaneously, pull your stomach muscles slightly inside.  Now, get rid of all the impure air from your lower stomach region and inhale slowly and gradually through both nostrils and fill the air gradually in whole body.  This is one cycle.  Like this, practice 18 times both in morning and in evening.

BENEFITS

By chanting omkara, all the 72,000 nerves present in the naval region get refreshed.

The “kundalini shakthi” present below the naval region raises gradually.

Body becomes lighter due to reduction in flab muscles.

Everyday tension and depression gets destroyed due to “omkara” dhyana.

All the traumatic experience, which you had undergone in this life, is destroyed gradually.

The mind is tamed and bought under control.

When you chant Om within yourself, “yogic fire” is created and when practiced everyday sincerely, can produce “yoga jothi.”  This gives “thejas” to the body.  This can be compared to a man who colors the vessel.  He has a leather bag by his side and it is connected to fire.  He pressurizes the leather bag and makes the fire to glow.  Likewise, the stomach acts as leather bag and when Om mantra is chanted, the yoga fire is created.  All these boons were given by Lord Siva to me. You also practise and attain higher consciousness in this life.

Disciple, if you feel all these are not true and these are but the cheating of Mantra Yoga, you will die even if all rich people and belongings are beside you.  So, my disciple, start practising Omkara Yoga from today onwards irrespective of time, place, date and age.

PRACTISE OF OMKARA DHYANA

During early morning and evening hours, sit in a room and meditate for sometime.  First, close your eyes and concentrate on the eyebrow.  Gradually, it gets fixed in that place.  Everyday, do dhyana for 20 minutes and gradually increase the timings without affecting the day-to-day activities.  When you attain advanced stage, you can clearly hear the Omkara sound vibration within your body.  When meditating on this for years, you can hear the seven cosmic rhythms

ഭഗവതിയുടെ പള്ളിവാളിന്റെ തത്ത്വം

ഭഗവതിയുടെ കൈവശമുള്ള ആയുധമാണ് പള്ളിവാൾ. പലക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലും പള്ളിവാൾ കാണാൻ സാധിക്കും. പള്ളിവാൾ എഴുന്നെള്ളിക്കുന്ന പതിവും ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലുണ്ട്. എന്താണ് വാസ്തവത്തിൽ ഈ പള്ളിവാൾ. സാധാരണ ഗതിയിൽ ഇന്ന് പലർക്കു മില്ലാത്ത ഒന്നാണ് ആത്മധൈര്യം. ആതമവിശ്വാസമില്ല എന്നതിനർത്ഥം ജീവിത യാഥാർത്ഥ്യങ്ങളെ നേരിടാനുള്ള ഭയം അവർക്കുണ്ട് എന്നതാണ്. ജീവിതത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അവർക്കൊരു ഭയവും ഉത്കണ്ഠയും ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് സാരം. ഈ ഭയത്തെ ആത്മവിശ്വാസമില്ലായമ എന്ന അറിവില്ലായ്മയെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന്റെയും ജീവിതപാതയിൽ നേരിടുന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികളെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുന്നതിന്റെയും പ്രതീകമാണ് പള്ളിവാൾ. ഈ ആയുധം കൈയ്യിലുള്ള ദേവതയെ ഉപാസിക്കുന്നയാൾക്ക് ഒരിക്കലും ഭയമുണ്ടാകുന്നില്ല.

മറ്റൊന്ന് തോൽപരിചയാണ്‌. ദൈനംദിനം നേരിടുന്ന നിരവധി പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപിൽ തകർന്നുവീഴാനുള്ളതല്ല ജീവിതം. അവയെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കാനുള്ള ശേഷി നമുക്ക് ആവശ്യമാണ്. ആ പ്രതിരോധത്തിനുള്ള ആയുധമാണ് തോൽപരിച. പ്രതിസന്ധികളെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കുന്നതിന് തോൽപരിചയും അവയെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുന്നതിന് വാളും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

അതായത് ചുരുക്കി പറഞ്ഞാൽ കേരളയീരുടെ ജീവിത വിജയത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമാണ് ഈ ദേവതയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങൾ. ഇച്ഛാശക്തിയും ജ്ഞാനശക്തിയും ക്രീയാശക്തിയും പ്രധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ത്രിശൂലം, വിജ്ഞാനത്തെ പകർന്നു നൽകുന്ന കപാലം, ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമായ സോമം, നേരിടുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധികളെ മുഴുവൻ തടഞ്ഞു നിർത്താനാകുന്ന പരിച, അവയെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കാനാകുന്ന പള്ളിവാൾ ഇതാണ് കേരളത്തിന്റെ കുലദേവതയായ ഭദ്രകാളിയുടെ ആയുധങ്ങൾ. കുലദേവത എന്നത് കൗളവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്. കൗള സമ്പ്രദായത്തെ ആചരിക്കുന്നവർ കുലത്തിലാണെന്നു പറയാം. ശിവനും ശക്തിയും അഭിന്നമായി നിൽക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥയാണ് കൗളം. ഇങ്ങനെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ അവനവന്റെ ഉള്ളിലുള്ള നൈസർഗ്ഗികമായ വിചാരധാരകളെ ഉണർത്തി ജീവിത വിജയം നേടാനുള്ള ആഹ്വാനമാണ് കുലദൈവത്തെയുടേത്. ക്ഷേമരാജൻ ശിവസൂത്രങ്ങൾക്കെഴുതിയ വിമർശിനി എന്ന വ്യഖ്യാനത്തിൽ ഇക്കാര്യം സുവ്യക്തമായിതന്നെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്.*

 ഞാൻ കോർപ്പറേറ്റ് ലോകത്ത് നിന്ന് നേരിട്ടും അല്ലാതെയും പഠിച്ച പാഠങ്ങൾ ഒരു നിയമാവലി പോലെ താഴെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു. 

1. നിങ്ങളുടെ സൌന്ദര്യം കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടല്ല ഒരു കമ്പനി നിങ്ങളെ നിയമിക്കുന്നത്. മറിച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെ കഴിവ്/കഴിവുകൾ കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് ജോലിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കഴിവുകൾ പരമാവധി വളർത്തിയെടുക്കുവാൻ നോക്കുക. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ യോഗ്യതകൾ വെറും എൻട്രി പാസ്സ് ആണെന്ന് മാത്രം മനസ്സിലാക്കുക. അതായത് നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള ജോലി സംബന്ധമായ കഴിവുകളിൽ അതിവൈദഗ്ദ്യം നേടിയെടുത്താൽ പിന്നെ ജോലിക്ക് വേണ്ടി കമ്പനികൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നതാണ്.
2. നിങ്ങൾ എത്രയൊക്കെ കൂറ് കാണിച്ചാലും, ആയുഷ്കാലം മുഴുവൻ ജോലി തരാമെന്ന് ഒരു കമ്പനിക്കും ഉറപ്പ് നൽകാനാകില്ല. അതു കൊണ്ട് കമ്പനിയോട് കൂറ് കാണിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന ജോലിയോടും, രാജ്യത്തോടും പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് മനസ്സാക്ഷിയോടും മാത്രം കൂറ് കാണിക്കുക. ദീർഘകാല അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ അത്തരമൊരു നയം തീർച്ചയായും ഗുണം ചെയ്യും.
3. ഒരു ജോലിയിൽ നിന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം വിലയിരുത്തുമ്പോൾ സന്തോഷം, മനസമാധാനം, ആരോഗ്യം, പുതിയ കഴിവുകൾ പ്രയോഗിക്കുവാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം, ശമ്പളം എന്ന ക്രമത്തിൽ മാത്രം വിലയിരുത്തുക. ഇതില് ആദ്യത്തെ മൂന്ന് കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നുപോലും ലഭിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ കഴിയുന്നത് വേഗം ജോലി മാറുക.
4. "അവൻ/ അവൾ ചെയ്യും എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ ചെയ്തിരിക്കും; ഇനി ചെയ്യില്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ ചെയ്യില്ല" എന്ന ഒരു ഖ്യാതി നിങ്ങളെ പറ്റി ഓഫീസിൽ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചെടുക്കുക. കോർപ്പറേറ്റ് ലോകത്ത് Reliability(വിശ്വാസ്യത)യേക്കാൾ വിലമതിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മൂല്യം ഇല്ല.
5. നിങ്ങളോട് ഇടപെടുന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് ഒരു അതിർവരമ്പ് നിശ്ചയിക്കുക. മറ്റുള്ളവരോട് ഇടപെടുമ്പോൾ അതേ അതിർവരമ്പുകൾ നിങ്ങളും പാലിക്കുക. അതായത് നിങ്ങൾ മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഒരു പരിധി വരെ ഇടപെടരുത്. അതു പോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ഒരു പരിധിക്ക് മേലെ ഇടപ്പെടുവാൻ അനുവദിക്കരുത്.
6. നിങ്ങളുടെ ബോസ്സ്/സീനിയർ ആണെന്ന് വെച്ച് ഒരാൾ ആവശ്യത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ അപമാനിക്കുന്നത് സഹിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല. എന്നു കരുതി പരസ്യമായി ആ വ്യക്തിയെ എതിർക്കരുത്. പക്ഷേ ബോസ്സ്/ സീനിയറോട്, മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ അസാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ, നിങ്ങളുടെ അതൃപ്തി വ്യക്തമാക്കുക. അതിന് ശേഷവും നിങ്ങളോടുള്ള സ്വഭാവം മാറുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ ജോലി ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ച് ചിന്തിക്കുക. മേൽ പറഞ്ഞ രീതിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ തൊഴിൽ വൈദഗ്ദ്യവും വിശ്വാസ്യതയും തെളിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, നിങ്ങളോട് അപമര്യാദയായി പെരുമാറുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് ബോസ്സ്/സീനിയർ കുറഞ്ഞത് നൂറു വട്ടം ആലോചിക്കും.
7. ദിവസത്തിൽ ഒന്നരമണിക്കൂർ മെഡിറ്റേഷൻ, യോഗ, ജിം തുടങ്ങിയ കാര്യങ്ങൾക്കായി നിർബന്ധമായും മാറ്റി വെയ്ക്കുക. ജങ്ക് ഫുഡ് ഒഴിവാക്കുക. അതു പോലെ അമിതമായ മദ്യപാനവും ചായ കൊഫ്ഫീ എന്നിവയുടെ അധികമായ ഉപയോഗവും നിയന്ത്രിക്കുക. ചുവരുണ്ടെങ്കിലേ ചിത്രം എഴുതുവാൻ സാധിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ.
8. ഒരു ജോലി കിട്ടിയാലും ജോബ് പോർട്ടലുകളിൽ ജോലി നോക്കുന്നത് മുടക്കാതിരിക്കുക. നിങ്ങളുടെ മേഖലയിൽ വരുന്ന മാറ്റങ്ങൾ അറിയുവാനും, കമ്പനി ഒരു സുപ്രഭാതത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളെ പിരിച്ചു വിട്ടാൽ പെട്ടെന്ന് ഒരു ജോലി കണ്ടെത്തേണ്ടി വരുമ്പോഴും, അത്തരമൊരു പ്രവൃത്തി സഹായകമാകും.
9. നിങ്ങളുടെ തൊഴിലുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പ്രൊഫെഷനൽ സംഘടനകളിലും സ്കൂൾ/കോളേജ് പൂർവ്വ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി സംഘടനകളിലും സജീവമായി പങ്കെടുക്കുക. അങ്ങനെ ഒരു തൊഴിൽ ശൃംഖല സൃഷ്ടിക്കുക. ഒരു ജോലി അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടി വരുമ്പോൾ അത് വളരെ അധികം സഹായകമാകും.
10. നിങ്ങളെ പോലെ പലവിധ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുമായി ഓഫീസിൽ വരുന്നവർ ആകാം നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹപ്രവർത്തകരും. അതു കൊണ്ട് അവരോട് ഇടപെടുമ്പോൾ ആവശ്യത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ ദേഷ്യപ്പെടുകയോ അപമാനിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുക.
11. HR വകുപ്പും നിങ്ങളുടെ മാനേജരും, നിങ്ങളെ ഒരുപാട് നിരീക്ഷിക്കാതിരിക്കുവാനും അതു വഴി നിങ്ങളെ ചൂഷണം ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുവാനും ആയി താഴെ പറയുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ നിർബന്ധമായും ചെയ്യുക.
1. ഓഫീസിൽ വെച്ച്, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ കമ്പനി തരുന്ന ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് (ലാപ്ടോപ്, മൊബൈൽ) ഒരു കാരണവശാലും നിങ്ങളുടെ വ്യക്തിപരമായ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഇന്റർനെറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിക്കാതിരിക്കുക. കമ്പനി വൈഫൈ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കാതിരിക്കുക.
2. നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വകാര്യജീവിതം പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെ സാമ്പത്തിക സ്ഥിതി, ലൈംഗിക താത്പര്യങ്ങൾ, ഭാവി പരിപാടികൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ ഒരിക്കലും സഹപ്രവർത്തകരുമായി പങ്കു വെയ്ക്കാതിരിക്കുക (ഇതിനാണ് നേരത്തേ പറഞ്ഞ അതിർവരമ്പ് കൃത്യമായി നിശ്ചയിക്കേണ്ടത്). അതുപോലെ റൂം ഷെയർ ചെയ്ത് താമസിക്കുമ്പോൾ സഹപ്രവർത്തകർക്കൊപ്പം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവരുടെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾക്കൊപ്പമോ ബന്ധുക്കൾക്കൊപ്പമോ താമസിക്കാതിരിക്കുക.
3. ഓഫീസ് രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിൽ (പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് അപവാദ പ്രചാരണത്തിൽ) ഒരു കാരണവശാലും ഇടപ്പെടാതിരിക്കുക. അതിൽ നിങ്ങൾ യാതൊരു താത്പര്യവും കാണിക്കാതിരിക്കുക. പക്ഷേ ഓഫീസിൽ എന്തു നടക്കുന്നു എന്ന ഒരു സാമാന്യബോധം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.
4. സഹപ്രവർത്തകരുമായി സാമ്പത്തിക ഇടപാടുകൾ (കടം വാങ്ങുന്നതും കൊടുക്കുന്നതും) നടത്താതിരിക്കുക.
5. വ്യക്തിപരമായ നേട്ടങ്ങൾ സമൂഹമാദ്ധ്യമങ്ങൾ വഴി പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് ഒഴിവാക്കുക. (ഓഫീസ് കാര്യം വേറെ, വ്യക്തിപരമായ കാര്യം വേറെ)
6. കമ്പനി ഔദ്യോഗികമായി നടത്തുന്ന പാർട്ടികൾക്ക് മാത്രം പോകുക. ഇനി സഹപ്രവർത്തകർ പാർട്ടികൾ നടത്തുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഫാമിലികൾ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട പാർട്ടികൾക്ക് മാത്രം പോകുക. ഏത് പാർട്ടിക്ക് ആയാലും മദ്യപാനം പൂർണ്ണമായി ഒഴിവാക്കുക. ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ സാഹചര്യം എന്തായാലും സഹപ്രവർത്തകരുമായി മദ്യപിക്കുന്നത് നിർബന്ധമായും ഒഴിവാക്കുക.
7. സഹപ്രവർത്തകരുമായി പ്രേമമോ, കൊഞ്ചിക്കുഴയലോ, ലൈംഗിക ബന്ധമോ (കാഷ്വൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ബഡ്ഡി സെക്സ്) നടത്താതിരിക്കുക.
12. വേറൊരു ജോലിക്കുള്ള ഓഫർ ലെറ്റർ കാണിച്ചു കമ്പനിയെ ബ്ലാക്ക്മെയിൽ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുക. ചിലപ്പോൾ നിവൃത്തികേടു കൊണ്ട് കമ്പനി നിങ്ങളുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ (ശമ്പള വർദ്ധനവ്, പ്രമോഷൻ തുടങ്ങിയവ) അംഗീകരിച്ചേക്കാം. പക്ഷേ ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത അവസരത്തിൽ അവർ നിങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുന്നതാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട്, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് വേറൊരു ജോലി ലഭിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം, ഒരു കമ്പനി വിട്ടു പോകാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചാൽ കമ്പനി വിട്ടു പോകുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുക.

A Father’s Lessons for Life and College

 My dearest Duaghter,

As I sit down to write this letter, tears well up in my eyes, and my heart swells with a mix of pride and sadness.

I am still not able to believe that you were in kindergarten just a minute ago (or so it seems), and leaving home today to spread your wings and embark on this incredible journey called ‘college.’

You are all grown up, and though it’s hard to let go, I know that this is just the beginning of an extraordinary chapter in your life.

First and foremost, I want you to know how much I love you. You have been the light of my life since the day you were born. Watching you grow into the remarkable woman you are today has been the greatest privilege of my life. As you step into this new phase, I want to share some of the most important lessons and advice that I hope will guide you through the ups and downs of college life and beyond.

Life has a way of taking us on unexpected journeys, and college marks the beginning of one of the most transformative adventures you will ever undertake. As you embark on this path of self-discovery and growth, I want to share some of the most valuable life lessons that I have learned along the way.

I know the last thing in the world you want to hear right now is more lessons from your father who has been offering them, wanted and otherwise, your entire life. But let me still tell you these things again one last time before you move out into the world with your mind hungry to learn new things and find new experiences.

1. Good education is a privilege: You are going to spend the next few years learning, growing, and focusing almost exclusively on yourself. This is a gift like none other. Such a potent combination of freedom, youth, opportunity and resources will never intertwine in life again. Make the most of these years.

2. Each day, invest in yourself: Studying will be only one form of education that college will provide. Embrace your independence, grow in character, and humbly be open to learn from others. Be like a sponge and absorb the knowledge. Here, Charlie Munger’s advice would never fail you – “Spend each day trying to be a little wiser than you were when you woke up. Day by day, and at the end of the day – if you live long enough – you will get out of life what you deserve.” 

About grades, work hard to be an A+ student. But more importantly, always strive to be an A+ human being. Living a life of kindness and compassion, integrity, honesty, and justice – this is non-negotiable.

3. When you fall, learn to pick yourself up: While your Mumma and I will always be rooting for you, know that life is not always going to be easy. But trust your strength and resilience to get through it with courage. The world is about to open up for you. Embrace the excitement and the challenge. There will be times when you would rather hide or bury your head in the sand than face whatever challenge is in your way. In those times, remember how courageous you are. Facing adversities head on and stepping away from what is comfortable and familiar to you and into the unknown, is what will bring you real joy. That is what will get you life’s real worth, its real meaning.

4. Do not change who you are to fit in: Never pretend to be someone you are not, just to fit in. Be true to yourself, follow your own dreams, and be proud of what makes you unique instead of feeling the pressure to follow the crowd. Make friends you can associate with, but do not change who you are to fit in with a certain group of people.

5. Live like a verb, not a noun: Learn to give yourself permission to ‘do’ what brings you the greatest joy, and what makes your soul grow. That is the way you will find satisfaction. What will lead you to a fulfilling life isn’t the nouns you may use for yourself – “I want to become a writer.” – but the verbs you will be – “I write.” The growing, learning, and pursuing that will happen in the process will take you to places you never imagined existed.

6. Be kind, always: In this journey of life, you are going to meet a lot of fellow travellers walking the same path as you, and as vulnerable as you may find yourself to be. Be kind to them. Empathise with them in their troubles, treat them the way you want to be treated, think and act selflessly without expecting anything in return, appreciate them for their work, forgive them for their mistakes, and carefully listen when they are sharing their problems. Learn to deal kindly and compassionately with them. That is your only hope to live happily with yourself, and make friends that will stay with you for life.

7. Take good care of your health: College can be overwhelming, but remember to take care of yourself. Eat right and stay active. Exercise. Walk. Run. Just moving will also help when you are feeling down, overwhelmed, or lonely. Go to bed and wake up at decent times. Learn to meditate. Your older self will thank you later.

Never stop learning and growing. Curiosity is a powerful tool that will lead you to new opportunities and experiences. College is the time of exploration, so embrace the spirit of enquiry and stay open to new knowledge and discoveries.

You are capable, resilient, and destined for greatness. Believe in yourself and the world will be your canvas to paint your dreams upon. The experiences, the achievements, the suffering, and the pain you are going live through over the next few years will make you the person that you are going to become.

Sometimes, it might seem harsh and unfair, but in the end, it will turn out to be one of the biggest gifts of your life and you will remember these years forever.

I will miss you everyday, but I am so proud of the strong, independent woman you have become. As you embark on this adventure. Know that I am here, cheering you on from afar. You will soon learn about what you really can achieve when you set your heart, your mind, and every muscle in your body to it.
